What a fantastic night, thank you to everyone who supported the evening and for the great feedback I have received. It was lovely to see so many of you and thanks for the effort made by wearing something pink and for those of you who travelled so far.
The 5 ladies that took part at Lloyds Park on Sunday morning raised a total of £1,340 and we then raised a further £1,333 giving us a grand total of £2,673 for a RACE FOR LIFE CHARITY FOR CANCER RESEARCH. I can't wait for next year where we can make this a much bigger and better event. So all you ladies maybe you could join the team next year.
MJ's would like to thank everybody who has helped with this event. The venue generously gave us the room for the evening, DJ Audrey and DJ Ray gave up their time for free along with Lizzie on the door. Teachers Clem and Tracy again gave up their time for free. Thank you for the decoration of the hall again for free. A Big thank you Clare for taking our pictures. A huge thank you to the wonderful team who took the time, effort and money to supply the evening with the lovely food. I must thank all of the companies that supported the event by donating such wonderful prizes. This event just shows what you can achieve when you have such a wonderful team.
